| I need some serious help with the developer version of BT 2004. I have
installed BT about 12 months ago, and had to reinstall recently because of VS
2005 Beta.
Started from Scratch
Clean OS
Clean VS 2003
Clean SQL
Clean “Everything”
Getting the error “Creation of Adapter FILE Configuration Store entries
failed. Access is denied”
I am not performing a silent configuration. And the error is displayed in a
dialog box.
Any good ideas would be appreciated immensely.
Best Regards

| I presume that you went throug setup w/o errors. Could you send your
configutration log? It is in the %temp% directory and is called config*.log
There may be multiple files, pick the most recent one.

| Looking at your issue again: "BT 2004. I have installed BT about 12 months
ago, and had to reinstall recently because of VS
2005 Beta". 2004 requires VS 2003 and .NET 1.1 It will not work with VS
2005. However side-by-side of .NET 1.1 and 2.0 is OK.
