BTS 2004 configuration failed on Win 2K3 -
|

| BTS2k4installer 2005-11-01, 6:01 pm |
| I have installed a BTS 2004 after installing all the pre-requisites. When I
attempt a configuration of the BTS, I am facing with this error:
An unexpected error occurred while configuring the Single Sign-On server
(The service cannot be started, either because it is disabled or because it
has no enabled devices associated with it.). Return Code: 2
I was able to understand that the Enterprise Single Sign-On service is not
installed and running which is causing this problem. But I am unable to
understand how to get it installed and running, as nothing unusual happen
when installing the BTS itself and I see ESSO installed (from add remove
programs) and the file structure is also intact (C:\Program Files\Common
Files\Enterprise Single Sign-On\)
I am running Win 2k3 Standard Edition, SP1 on my computer. Any help would be
highly appreciated.
Thanks,
Satish.

| Do you have MSMQ installed? If yes, remove it or disable it and then try
running the configuration wizard again. Note however that you will need to
delete all the SQL DBs also to avoid giving new names for the various
databases required by BizTalk

| Check that you have not deleted the SingleSignOn database. I also have
problems with Win 2K3 SP1 check out my thread here
http://groups.google.com/group/micr...547e63d0deb56b5
And write something if you get it to work.

| For example:
> BizTalk Base EDI service : .\BTEDIAdmininstrator
> BizTalk Service BizTalk Group : .\BTHostAdministrator
> Rule Engine Update Service : .\BTRuleAdministrator
> Enterprise Single Sign-On Service : .\SSOAdministrator
