| Hello,
I have installed Biztalk server 2004 on windows 2003 + SP1.
I have not installed the Microsoft SharePoint.
Is it important for Biztalk works??
I have an error on configuration of Biztalk.
Can it depend from Microsoft SharePoint?
Thanks,
Francesco
P.S. Exuse me for my english!!

| Francesco,
Sharepoint is not required for the core of BizTalk to function. Unless you
need it you can exclude sharepoint-related features from installation. It
is difficult to say if the error that you get depends on the sharepoint
unless you give the error text. If you can send it here I can try to help
you. Also, in your %temp% directory there are log files for config and
setup - they might provide more hints.
If you are just investigating what BizTalk is, I recommend you download our
beta that is available for download and will be released in March. It has a
lot of new features, and much more simplfied installation and configuration.
