Friends,

I was trying to install BT04 on Win XP and SP2 and getting the following
error while running ConfigFramework.exe.

"Creation of Adapter FILE configuration Store entries failed. The RPC
protocol sequence is not supported." Any help would be appreciated.

FYI. I had another error just before this and got resolved by enabling the
RPC client request authentication with the help of a msdn article. "Failed to
enable the single sign-on(SSO) service (error code 0X80070005)"

Thanks
carlos

Hi There -

I assume you have checked KB 841893?

The error message from RPC is "The RPC protocol sequence is not supported."

SSO uses only the LRPC or TCP/IP protocols. For this operation it will be
using TCP/IP. So, please check your TCP/IP configuration to see if there's
anything unusual? Were you connected to a network at this point? Anything
interesting in your Application or System event log or config log?
(Config*.log file in your %TEMP% directory).
