| W2K3 is considered a more robust server platform than XP (which is client).
That is why production installation on XP is not recommended. In addition,
if you need to use any components that rely on sharepoint services (e.g.
HWS) you will not be able to do it, since sharepoint is not supported on XP.

Can a "Complete" BizTalk Server 2002 Develop and Test Version be installed
on Windows XP SP2 or is only a subset supported (i.e., "Tools Only")? This
is the product version included with Visual Studio .NET 2003 Enterprise
Architect.
The BTS 2002 ReadMe states "BizTalk Server 2002 can be set up on Microsoft
Windows XP for development of applications."
The BTS 2002 SP1 ReadMe states "Note BizTalk Server 2002 SP1 should only be
installed on Windows XP as a tools installation for development purposes."
Thanks
