BAMAnalysis, Setting up Biztalk 2004 using Named Instances
|
|
|
| Hi Everyone,
I am installing Biztalk using Named Instances of SQL Server 2000.
Will BAMAnalysis and BizTalkAnalysisDb be installed on Named Instances?
If not then I will have BAM Analysis and BizTalkAnalysisDb not on Named
Instances and rest other Biztalk DataBases on Named Instances.
Will it cause me any problem during Backup and Restore if I Install Biztalk
2004 on Named Instances? As I will have databases split on Named Instances
and not on Named Instances.
Is it recommeded to Install Biztalk 2004 on Named Instance or not?
Please Any help and suggestions is appeciated?
Thanks

| Analysis server doesn't support named instances, so it'll just be the
server name of where you have OLAP installed.
Mixed named & default instance are supported, so there shouldn't be any
worries there.
