Followed the suggestion from a one of the forum couple pages down who
had the same issue and now my issue is gone. Suggested whoever is
having the same issue try this:

Are you using "Simple file sharing" ? If simple file sharing is
enabled
on my XP machine, I`m not able to share c:\program files or
c:\windows..
If so, to turn off simple file sharing, open explorer, go to Tools
->
Folder options -> View, remove the check on "Use simple file
sharing
(Recommended)" (on the bottom of the list).

Then you should see the security tab for the folder in question. To
give
access to NETWORK SERVICE click the add button under the Security tab

and type "network service" then OK. The NETWORK SERVICE user should
then
appear and you can set the read and write rights..
