Author Windows Services Configuration Page - accounts being rejected

I have been trying to configure biztalk using the wizard. I am on the last
page where it lists a number of services and needs accounts to associate with
them.
EVERY account I have tried, including Administrator, is being diagnosed:
Invalid Username Password. In fact, I have used the Browse to be sure that
the account is in fact correct.
This is Win 2003 Server, a Domain account (and I HAVE tried the syntax:
Domain\Accountname), BizTalk 2004.

In addition, I would like to set up an account that has ONLY the privileges
necessary for BizTalk to operate correctly; obviously, using Admin is not a
good idea.

Thanks for your help in advance.

Hi Chuck,

Are you specifying the accounts with the format "DOMAIN\account"? If these
are local accounts put the machine name for the domain.

I'd also test logging in with the accounts to ensure the password is
actually correct or that something like "must change password at next login"
isn't set. When getting problems like this I'll also sometimes type the
password in notepad and then cut/paste into the password field - just to
ensure that it's correct. I have on occasion been caught out by the
keyboard not typing what I expected (such as some laptops having numlock on
etc...)

Is this a Windows 2000 or later domain? NT4 domains aren't supported.
