Win 2003 Server - single machine, using Domain accounts. I have tried to
assign a variety of accounts, including Administrator, to each of the
services and they all get rejected as "Invalid Account or Password". I
have tried the Domain\Account syntax as well. I am aware that NTAUTHORITY
accounts are not valid in 2004.

Should I try to define a local account?

What is the minimum required rights for such an account - obviously, I
don't like use the Administrator account.

Thanks in advance for your help.

You will be able to use existing domain accounts for setup/configure or
specify non-existing local accounts and let them be created. The
setup/configure process will not be able to create domain accounts. So that
may explain the error you seen.
