| I have installed BTS 2004 on a single server following all
the pre req. except the installation of VS 2003. I have VS
2003 installed on a sep machine with the BTS SDK so I have
the proper templates. Is this setup ok?? I am having
trouble deploying back to the 2003 server that is running
BTS. I am unable to provide network logging credentials.
Any help would be great.

| Hi Greg,
Are the machines in the same domain? What type of network credentials
problems are you receiving? Is the client trying to deploy a member of the
necessary BizTalk groups?
Also ensure the configuration on the dev machine for where to deploy to is
set correctly. See
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/d...g_proj_cosd.asp .

| The machines are in the same domain. However, after
posting this I found out that my router was blocking
traffic to my DNS server. I have just now fixed that.
I have been following the tutorial that came with BTS and
I am up to the point of deploying the project. When I run
the wizard it is trying to use the 2nd boxes local user
accounts using window authentication. It will not allow me
to specify a different account to use.
When I started to run the setup I got an error when I
tried to have it use a domain account.(now I know why it
could not find the domain server.)
I will take a look at the article you sent. I might have
to re-install BTS and use a domain account now that I have
that problem fixed.
Thanks for your help.
