| Hi, I've got this weird error trying to configure BizTalk 2004.
The message "The operation completed successfully" appears with a
"Retry/Cancel" option. Retrying simply repeats the message, and cancel simply
rolls back the entire configuration.
Rolling back is not complete, however, and "configframework /u" doesn't work
either (a box flashes and disappears without anything being done). I have to
manually delete all user groups that are created, remove the SharePoint web
site, delete the DBs in SQL as well as the SQL AS DBs.
Attempting the "configframework" configuration gets me back to the same
problem again. An uninstall and re-install still faced the same problem.
This is on a Win2K3 Enterprise (no SP1), SQLXML 3.0, XML4.0SP2, XML3.0SP5,
SQL2K Enterprise (SP4) w/EQ (hotfixed) & AS (SP4), WSS 2.0 SP1, VS.NET 2K3
w/MSDN April '05, Office 2K3 Professional Enterprise SP1, and all the
"miscellaneous" like .NET Framework 1.1 SP1 (for 2K3), etc.

| So, can anyone help me then? I've tried going through all the checklists...
And except that I use "newer" versions of certain software patches (e.g. SQL
SP4, MSXML 3.0 SP5), I've followed the install checklist closely...
