Greetings,

Trying to install BizTalk server 2004 on my developper workstation. I had
it on this machine a few monthes ago and it worked just fine then. Apart
from installing SP2 for Windows XP, I can't see what has changed.

For one thing, no matter if I select the SSO components in the custom
install wizard, it tells me it will install ENTSSO server and administration
as prerequisites. Do I need these on my workstation ?

Proceeding to the installation, it works for a little wihle, but then gives
me the error message: The following platform components failed to install
and will need to be manually installed before setup can proceed; Enterprise
Single Sign-On Server, Enterprise Single Sign-On Administration.

Which I tried to do by executing the SSO.MSI from the platform directory on
the BTS CD. This time I get a slightly more specific reason: Error 1928.
Error registering COM+ application. Contact your support personnel for more
information.

Eventvwr doesn't give me anything more, and the install log file doesn't
give me any clue. I realize that the problem may not be BTS related after
all, but any pointers would be immensely appreciated. Thank you.
