Configuring BizTalk WMI missing DLLs ConfigFramework
|

| "Failed to deploy BizTalk system assembly "C:\Program Files\Microsoft
BizTalk
Server 2004\Microsoft.BizTalk.DefaultPipelines.dll". Unspecified
exception:
File or assembly name ntolatrl.dll, or one of its dependencies, was not
found." Retry or Cancel buttons.
If I click retry, it seems to search the disc and then it give the same
error except the dll name is some random-appearing letters like
jmeuo6_6.dll
etc. I have restarted the ConfigFramework several times and the dlls
it
cannot find are always different. I click retry dozens of times and
each
time a different dll name is "missing".
I found a post similar to this one long time back but the solution
there was to give the permissions on the c:\windows\temp and
c:\windows\Microsoft.net\framework\v1.1.4322 directories , but the user
i am using is in Administrator group.
I am using WinXP (media centre edition ) SP2.

| Hey guys, i could able to get past this error by doing the following
things,.
Open Windows Explorer. Browse to your C:\Windows\Temp
Go to the Tools > Options menu, and select View. Select 'Show hidden
files and folders' radio button, and uncheck the 'Hide protected
operating system files' checkbox.
If you are on Windows XP, you may also have to disable 'Simple file
sharing (recommended)' to see the Security tab in the next step.
Right-click on the Installer folder and choose Properties. Click the
Security tab.
Verify that the following permissions are set and that these user
groups are listed:
ADMINISTRATORS group:
Full control (all boxes checked)
EVERYONE group:
Read & Execute
List Folder Contents
Read
SYSTEM group:
Full control (all boxes checked)
If one of these user groups is not listed, you may have to ADD it by
clicking the Add button in the upper-right corner of the Security
Properties dialog box.
Make sure the checkbox at the bottom of the Security Properties dialog
box, marked 'Allow inheritable permissions from parent to propagate to
this object' is checked.
but i am struck with another error relating to SSO..(:
Hope this might help somene like me..
Regards,
Murali.
