I set up my SAP and BizTalk like described in the articel "How to Trigger a
BizTalk Orchestration from SAP" at
"http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/BTS_2004WP/html/d22ea1bc-de7a-440e-961a-25f83e28e141.asp"

Testing my rfc connection was successfull. Executing netstat on my BizTalk
Server shows an established connection to the SAP host. Therefore I assume
the linkage of the systems works.

Then I tried to send an existing IDoc with the transaction WE19 and
afterwards with SM58 from SAP. I receive the error 'RfcAbort: Cannot lock
transaction' in SAP SM58.

SAP.Net Connector and Microsoft BizTalk Adapter v2.0 for mySAP Business
Suite are installed on BizTalk Server. Any hints about the problem?

Thanks

Ralf

Hi,

Could you please make sure you have permissions to execute Stored procs on
the SQL Side?

Thank you!

hi ralf,

i had the same problem...

the sap adapter installs 3 stored procedures to messageboxdb to handle
transactions:

mp_sap_check_tid
mp_sap_delete_tid
mp_sap_insert_tid

but the hostuser has per default no permissions to these procedures.
what you have to do:

- start sql enterprise manager
- expand your dbserver....databases....messageboxdb....stored procedures
- right click the procedure....properties....permissions
- check the EXEC checkbox for the biztalk user group containing the account
under your sap adapter host runs

this should solve your problem.
