I have the setup log but it is too long to post here, below is a portion
that seam to be where the failure occurs.

| Hi,
Not that this will solve your problem, but I am getting the same problem
with RC. Did you use local groups or do you have a domain controller, with
domain groups?
Paul.

| Hi Anthony, Paul
What user account are you using to do basic configuration? If everything is
local and not on a domain, are you by any chance using a user account that
doesnt have any password (basically with autologon capabilities)? Either
way, can you forward the complete config log to bhaskark@microsoft.com.
Thanks,
Bhaskar

| The user account is a local account called btssvc. The machine is not a
domain member, and the SQL Server is local (2005). I will forward the
complete log file via e-mail.

| I finally got this working last night. (using the RTM version of BTS 2006).
What I had to do was to run the Wizard and specify the Account that I was
logged on as (An Administrator). This gave me a warning about the account
being an administrator, but the wizard ran. After the wizard was complete, I
went into Local User and Groups and added the btssvc user to the new BizTalk
& SSO Groups, then I went to Services and changed the Logon account for the
four new services to logon as btssvc and restart these services.
After this it seems to work OK
