We are working with Microsoft Operations Manager MoM and are getting an error that says

Failed to send SMTP message.
The message could not be sent to the SMTP server. The transport error code was 0x0040217. The server response was not available.

I am thinking that when I configured MOM in the E-Mail properties it asked for an Internet Return Address. I put my E-Mail address. I am not sure what that is.
