Use of xsi:nil

Hi
I want to make a map between to files, one file is a schema
that contains several elements that are nillable. The other is an updategram
for SQL server. I have made the map and it is valid. Then I have an an XML
sample document that uses xsi:nil ="true" on several elements. This document
is valid accordin to my input schema. But when I use it as a testfile for the
mapper it returns with errors for each use of the xsi:nil="true". How do I
build the mapper so it tolerates the use of xsi:nil="true"?
