I have a preprocessor component in .NET that is trying to
read the file that has been received. I can't open it
because another process has it locked! That doesn't make
sense.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Steve,

You may need to stop and restart the COM+ process that your preprocessor is
running under. I had the same issue during development of my preprocessor
when trying to refresh the assembly. I had both instances in memory at the
same time trying to acces the same file from a receive function.
