Hi
I am trying to set the Recv Port for SAP and while setting I am putting IP
address of SAP application server as SAP Gateway host and the SAP Gateway
services I am using sapgw00. But after saving all the values, I see
"sap://MachineName:xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx (ip address)/ProgID/sapgw00/"

The "maching name" is appended automatically and this is the M/c name where
BizTalk is installed.

Now when I try to test the RFC destination in SAP (with SE59), I get the
error.

Can anybody please let me know what I am doing wrong, or if I am missing
something...?

Thanking in advance

You need to include the SAProuter String from the SAPGUI application.
SAProuterString/sapgw00. I have version 640 and you can highlight the server
and click on change item to see the router string. You can also find it in
the sapgui ini file. Also add the correct client, system id and password.

Thanks a lot for your answer...
But I haven't specified any Router String in SAP GUI. I am just using IP
address of Application Server and Systen number, that's it. That's how I am
getting connected from SAP Gui.
Is this Router String automatically created? How to create it or some body
from basis need to take care of that

Thanks

Rajan

You'll not filling in a client number in the port setup? Our setup is to an
external site thus the router string....I believe you should still have some
type of client number like what is used in SapGui. What version of SapGui do
you have?
