| We have found very few offerings with respect to ODBC Adapters - there
is 1) the Open Source GotDotNet, 2) TopXML Biztalk Database Adapter
Utilities, 3) I-Way, 4) WRQ/Verastream.
Has anyone found any other ODBC adapter offerings for BTS 2004? In
particular, we are looking for the following qualities:
Must Have Qualities:
1) Viable Vendor
2) Vendor Support
3) Reliability
4) Concurrency/Scalability
Other Qualities we want:
1) reasonable price
2) Usability (from developers perspective)
3) Full range of ANSI SQL statements supported
4) Integration with BTS Admin tools
5) Two-phase commit with BizTalk MessageBox
Many of the products we look at bundle a lot of functionality that we
are not interested in. I suspect that is why many of them are so
expensive.
Do any of you simply write your own adapter, and if so, how was that
experience? It seems like it would not be too difficult to do that sort
of thing.
