Author Interaction/set conditions between multiple Xlang schedules

Hi,

We're using Biztalk 2002. Let's say, that I have 2 Xlang schedules. One is
sitting as a Windows service and awaits for a inbound message queue that
satisfies its criteria. While it waits, the second Xlang schedule starts
(also as a Windows service). Once the second schedule is completed, I need
the first one to be marked as completed as well - sort of notification
mechanism. How could it be accomplished, so the completion of one process
triggers the completion of another one. Maybe stored procedure? Any input is
welcome.

Thanks,
--Alex
