Hi,

Over the weekend, I upgraded our SQL Server to Windows 2003. While our
Biztalk Server (2002 SP1) remains at W2000 Sp3. We have a Sked which creates
a DTC transaction with our SQL Server for our Finance System. However since
the upgrade the DTC tranasction hangs when sked is initialised. On the SQL
Server, th following DTC event viewer message occurs:

MS DTC has received an invalid message. Event specific Information:
(Message length is incorrect, Length = 60)
File: d:\srv03rtm\com\complus\dtc\dtc\tm\src\t
msuper.cpp, Line: 3022.
Version: 5.2.3790.0
+ 0x7ffe0304
..
For more information, see Help and Support Center at
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.

Has anybody else encountered this, Do we need SP4 for the Biztalk server

Thanks,

Simon

It appeared that SP1 for Biztalk did not install properly first time round.
MS have said that SP1 is required for any association with Windows 2003 from
Biztalk. Once reinstalled everything was cool!

Do you have a link to information about BizTalk Server 2002 sp1 being
necessary when running on Windows 2003?
