If you have exisiting ports you need to look in the
orchestration view (in the tabs at the bottom of your
visual studio). Scroll down until you see Types-->Port
Types.

Simply select the port type used in your port and change
the "Type Modifier" in the properties tab to Public.

Rebuild and re-deploy. You should be all good
