InfoPath cannot submit form

| Hi,
I am trying to test the web service orchestration,
ExposeWebService, that comes with BTS. I have created a
simple InfoPath form and have set the web service URL to
call ExposeWebService_ProcessClientRequest_SO
APPort.asmx?
WSDL. However when I submit my form, I receive the
following error from InfoPath: "InfoPath either cannot
connect to the data source or the service has timed out"
Any ideas?
Thanks!

| Can you try to browser to the amsx.wsdl manually please?
Make sure that security configuration is set correct.
Regards,
Christof

| Hi Christof,
Yes, browsing to the asmx file and viewing the WSDL is not
a problem in IE. The web service just does not seem to
respond when calling via an application. I have tried
invoking the web service thru an ASP.NET app w/ the same
result.
Any ideas?

| Do you see that any service starts up in HAT please?
If this is the case: try to use the debugger view there.
Regards,
Christof

| Jude, as Christof mentioned: did you configure the security so that the
account that ASP.NET uses has access to the BizTalk databases? You can check
the Event Log on the server, if it's a security problem there should be some
events logged.

| Hi Jan and Christof,
I finally ended up making the following change in IIS: the
ExposeWebService vir dir was assigned Script Source
Access, Read, Write and also under Execute Permissions, I
selected Scripts and Executables. This resulted in a
message box warning me that I could be open to hacking. I
clicked OK on this message box and since then I am able to
submit a form to BTS Orchestration but unable to get the
response.
Do you know whether you have to write code to instantiate
the web service object and populate the fields I require?
Thanks,
Jude

messages?
Kind regards,
Christof
