Author Type Agnostic Ports (TAP)

I have a scenario where a large number of message types (around 250) follow a similar workflow. Using Type agnostic ports (by using System.Xml.XmlDocument as the type of the message expected on port) to get such messages in the workflow is one of the opti
ons.

1. What is the performance overhead of using this approach. Would I be better off creating individual orchestrations for each message type.

2. Also with TAP, I assume the HAT would not be able to track properties of the message (as it is a Serialized Interchange) and also I would not be able to run Schema specific rules. Can anyone suggest me a way out.

Thanks,
Jitendra
