Author Rules not working???

I have setup a simple valid rule in a working orchestration and it is not
triggering at all. I have double checked my schemas, my vocabulary, etc. I
am just staring at a screen at this point.

I know that the HAT is the logical choice to debug this problem but it is
not intuitive at all can someone give me some ideas on how to use the HAT
with the Rules and what other debug routines would be helpful at this point?

Go into the "Configuration\Policies" menu item and indicate what you want to
track for your rules policy.

Then in the orchestration debugger view of a recently run or currently
debugging orchestration, you should see a link to view the tracked rule
information.

I actually did that. Worked fine. All it did was tell me which rules fired
(none) and which didn't (both). It gave me absolutely no reason why they
didn't fire.

Although this time they didn't even evaluate. Before I recreated them they
at least evaluated to true and didn't fire. And these are two very simple
rules, ie: if schema field = 2. And they both eval to True when I test
against the XML.

I just don't get it. This is crazy.

In your Call Rules shape in the Orchestration, were you able to use
the Parameters grid to match the input schema required by the rules
to a document instance in your Orchestration?
Kind Regards,

Could you supply an error message you are getting? Or is it just being
skipped? You could use the Orchestration debugger to see if it is being
called at all. Last but not least, how are you using the rule? Are you
sending an XML Document? If so, when you make a reference to the rule in
the Orchestration, does it ask you which document you want to submit?
