Invalid Number error for HL7 Distinguished Property

I installed the HL7 Rollup patch 840108.

In the DSR_Q01_24_GLO_DEF.xsd, I promoted the MessageControlId element as a
Distguished Field.

The Message HL7_DSR_Message uses the DSR... schema.

In a Message Assignment shape I enter the following and I continue to get a
Invalid Number error after the 2_MessageControlId.

HL7_DSR_Message.MSA_MessageAcknowledgment.MSA.2_MessageControlId =
MessageControlID;

What am I doing wrong?
