Mapping Error: Two Choice Groups

| Hi,
I'm trying to map two schemas that both have several choice groups.
However, when I map the choice groups together, I get an error if the
elements of the choice group are not present in the source file.
What I would like to happen, is for the choice group to not be mapped
when it's not in the source file, and to be mapped when it is.
Suggestions?
