Greeting every one,
I am new to BizTalk Sever 2004 and I have a very simple question to ask.

I want to know that is it possible to define a business process in BizTalk
2004 without using Orchestration Designer? If yes then how? and If not then
why it isnt required?

best regards,

Well - it is possible to create "applications" using biztalk without an
Orchestration. You can have receive ports and send ports - and along with
Maps and Pipelines create pretty sophisticated integrations (applications).

Thanks for the reply Jon.
Actually i am interested in workflow part. I am not looking for EAI. Is
there any way possible to use orechestration programmatically i.e. without
using BizTalk Orchestration designer. I have seen ODBA but that also requires
import to BizTalk.
thanks and best regards,

Today, it is not a supported scenario to author xlang/s directly. You need
to go through the designer.
