I'm attempting to consume a web service that actually
sends a complex object and three simple types to a web
service (for update) that are supplied by a xml file
retrieved.

I have the ports, send and receive shapes, message all
created correctly (as far as I can tell) and I have map
from the xml file schema to the service schema. I have a
Message Assignment shape set up for the simple types.
However, when I try to assign the map to transform shape
in the Construct Message shape I am unable to select the
message for my output message. Only the input message is
available in the dropdown list.

I've looked through everything I can find and I can't see
the difference. What did I miss? Any help?

Can I take a look at your orchestration and schema files?
