HI,

THIS IS RAVIBABU.

I installed the BIZTALK Server 2004 an dconfigured well on the server. Applications are running quite well on the server .

I am using sql server available in the server machine itself.

I even installed the workstation quite successfully.

When i am deploying a sample solution available in the SDK, Deployment is successful ...but when i placed an input file in the recieve location...file is staying there itself...not picking by serev.

Am I missing any thing? Please help me...i am facing this problem from a long time...

Thanks in advance,

Ravibabu

Is the receive location enabled?
Is the host started?
Does the file name match the file mask in the receive location?
Are you getting any error messages in the event log? Does the user the host is running as have read/write/delete access to the directory where the file is located?

Regards

Check whether the Receive Locations are enabled.

When you change some thing on your biztalk explorer, like creating
receive/send ports, changing the file path in file adapter etc...it will
take 60 seconds by default (caching interval set in the server) to get this
changes reflected. If you want the changes to take effect immediately, just
restart the Biztalk Application NT Service from Services MMC console.

Also, check whether biztalk service is running in the first place :-)

Give it a try and let me know what's happening.
