| We have no trouble at all processing HL7 inbound, we've been processing ADTs
for months.
Creating outbound HL7 from XML pulled from a SQL Server database, however,
is another matter. We've had problem after problem, and our only reference
has been the "Message Enrichment Tutorial."
Can anyone at Microsoft provide ANY documentation, ANY how-to, ANY
instructions for creating outbound HL7 from XML, using the HL7 Accelerator
package?
Here's our specific problem:
The entire project works perfectly, until the outbound Send of the HL7
message, thru the BTAHL72X Send pipeline (isn't that the pipeline to use?).
At this point, the orchestration bombs, and the event log gives us
"There was a failure executing the Send pipeline ... Reason: Object
reference not set to an instance of an object."
No output file appears when we bind the orchestration Send port to a file
folder. And when we bind the Send port to an ftp site (as we will in
production), an output file is deposited, but it contains the XML that was to
be translated into HL7, rather than actual HL7 output.
Is there any way you can point us toward the possible problem? The
documentation is no help.
