Hi,

We have a strange problem confronting us in our Production Environment. Our
BizTalk solution is using the MQ Adapter to read messages from a MQ Queue.
This MQ Adapter is running under a Host "Websphere MQ". Occassionaly, the MQ
Adapter fails to pull messages from the MQ Queue and the only solution left
with us is to restart the Host. once we restart the Host "Websphere MQ" it
starts pulling the message.

I'm pretty much sure that this problem is something to do withthe MQ Adapter
of BizTalk.

Is there a known fix for this?
Has someone faced this problem also?
Is there any documentation available to understand in detail how MQ Adapter
works internally?

Thanks,
Pandit.

Do you see any Application Event Log entries in the host instances where the
adapter runs? Does the host have more than one host instance, i.e. run on
multiple BizTalk servers? Are there any MQSeries - specific failures (channel
failure, for example) that preclude this problem?
