Summary
=======
I am doing a simple orchestration with a single Transformation between two
schemas; it deploy's fine but doesn't seem to do anything. What am I doing
wrong.

Setup
====
Fresh build of single server. 2003 SP1, Office2003 SP2, SQL 2005, Sharepoint
2003 SP2, Biztalk 2006 Beta2 (Fully Patched). The software was applied to
server in the sequence above.
Biztalk solution with:
1) two schemas; one schema mapped to identical destination schema(with one
extra target destination with a default value)
2) oneway map(as described in point (1)).
3) oneway receive port: dynamic, specifiy now, file type: *.xml, folder
where 'user group' has full control.
4) one send port: dynamic, specifiy now, file type: *.xml, folder where
'user group' has full control.
5) orchestration with TransformObject(specified with source message/schema
to destination message/schema) embedded in ConstructMessageObject.
6) ConstructMessageObject described in point 5 (specifed with target schema
message)
7) all required port surfaces and messages
8) strong named, receive port activated.

I did make the following notes.
a) each port in point (2) and (3) had it's own 'port type' defined with it's
default 'operation_1'
b) each schema has element for default set to 'qualified'
c) I am not sure what .dll shipping is requred because I installed all the
servers on same operatingsystem/platform.
d) It deploys fine without errors and i enlised the orchestration and
application started without a hitch. All 'physical' port on biztalk started
fine too.
e) application was fresh so there's no need to worry about 'cleaning' out
previous deployment's ports. etc.

Observation
========
I dropped an infopath XML document created from the the source schema into
the source folder location. Waited the 5 seconds on the 'polling' time set
on adapter. And nothing happened. What am I doing wrong?

Please help.

Hello RedStain,

Are there any error messages in the eventlog? If you use HAT do you see suspended
messages?
Do you use a XMLreceive or a passthrough pipeline?

It WAS using XMLreceive. I say WAS because I found an 'login failure' on
Biztalk Service account with SQL 2005, I change password and now it is
throwing so many errors. I will have to rebuild it.

I also found that FileAdapter didn't have any rights to the folder. I will
have to check tht out after the rebuild!

I managed to get it half working.
It was supposed to consume a schema1 XML and spit out a schema2 XML
It did the first but .. and chewed up my input. Hmm I think it trashed it.

HAT Error
MessageInstance/SchameName: Unparsed Interchange
Event/Direction: Receive
Timestamp: 26/04/2006/16:17:56:630
Event/Adapter: FILE
Event/URL: C:\temp\10\*.xml

As stated, Message is consumed but not processed. The error was reproduced
however the XML was produced.
So despite the error message. We got the message on the otherside. Any
ideas?
