Author Value Mapping (Flattening) Functoid

i have a schema where a section needs to be flattened from multiple
instances of an element into a single record. In order to do this I'm
using a value mapping (flattening) functoid, as described in:

http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/d...og_map_bwuh.asp

The problem I have is only a single element in the destination schema
is being created, the remaining instances in the source are being
ignored. If I change the sequence of the 3 instances in my test data I
can get 2 elements to be created but not all 3.

anybody have any ideas?

thanks

Make sure you have a looping functoid involved as well so that you are
looping over the original records to flatten them to the new structure.

matt,

thanks for your reply. unfortunately the advice didn't help.

i've been in touch with microsoft support and received a hotfix
(KB884887). this has corrected the issue.

Do you have a looping functoid surrounding this action?

Paul,

Could you send me your schemas, map, and input files?
