I got a problem when I tried to start the BizTalk Base EDI Service. The EDI Service started and then stopped immidiately. The error message likes this:

The BizTalk Base EDI Services service on Local Computer started and stoped. Some servies stop automatically if they have no work to do, for example, the Per...

I try to start EDI service because I want to do the EDI tutorial from MSDN. I tried several ways for figuring it out:
Reconfigure the BizTalk server, change the logon account of EDI services, uninstall and reinstall BizTalk server, and format the server computer and reinstall everything. But the error is still there.

The computer has Windows 2003 server+VS 2003+Biztalk Server, SQL server is installed in another machine.

All help appreciated

Thanks,
Tatyana

Please read "Base EDI Adapter Security Recommendations" topic in the documentation.
There are extra steps you might have to do when you change Base EDI adapter account.

Is "BizTalk Service BizTalk Group : BizTalkServerApplication" service running?

Thanks
Tatyana

Hi, thanks a lot. I remember it was working but I am sorry I cannot check it now. I have an urgent project so I reinstalled BizTalk, this time I installed everything in single computer. I used local accounts in configuration. Now BizTalk works fine. As th
ere are a lot of account settings in BizTalk configuration and SharePoint configuration, I suggest that MS makes some detail instruction on that part.
