Using Health and Activity Tracking on remote machine
|
|
| Rudolf 2004-12-28, 5:49 pm |
| Is there a way to connect to another BizTalk server (database) from an
existing installation of Health and Activity Tracking?
I have a development/deployment machine with its own copy of BizTalk and all
its tools and I have a test environment that was installed to simulate a
production environment without any tools (e.g. Health and Activity Tracking)
installed. I need to view/debug messages on this test environment since there
are some messages going missing and I have no other way to connect to the
system (being locked down - no remote desktop)
Thanks

You may also be able to use the Biztalk Administration Tool, and configure
it to look at the production environment.

| Thanks but I have seen that article alteady and it does not help me since I
have an existing installation. The idea is to be able to point the existing
installation tools to the servers.

| Unfortunately I did'nt get the answer I wanted but I did find a good tool
called BizTalkExplorer by Macaw Nederland B.V. It allows you to do a fair
amount of administration remotely without having the whole VS.Net IDE
installed.
Unfortunately I don't have the URL on my now.
