I'm trying to help a client get VPC 7.01 working on a new Mac mini, and we're
running into quite the conundrum...

He was using VPC 3 on an older iMac using OS 9. He used it to run the PC
version of QuickBooks 2003. Having no clue as to how to get his data from
there into the new version of VPC on the mini, first I tried installing from
the QuickBooks 2003 CD directly into XP under VPC. All I could get was an
error saying something like "the operating system won't permit setup.exe to
run...". So then I read in the manual about migrating older data into the new
VPC, and I attempt to do what it tells me. I get a shut-down version of the
old VPC 3.0 'virtual machine' onto the mini, I get the new VPC to recognize
it, but when I try and import the data, I just get errors. Something like "an
unknown error prevented the operation from completing"...

HELP! Anyone here have any clue as to a way out of this mess???
