Performance Counters Missing

| I'm just a lowly developer, not an admin, so be gentle. :-)
I'm trying to monitor a server using Application Center 2000, and on one machine in a cluster of 2, I cannot get any perfmon counters to appear. If I add any of the counters, like Memory Available Bytes, Processor Utilization, etc, nothing appears in the
graph. As I click on each one, the Last, Average, Minimum and Maximum all appear as 0. The graph timeline continues to move, but there is no data at all. I know this machine is getting plenty of action, so I'm a bit confused. As I mentioned, this is
a cluster of two machines and the counters work great on the other machine.
I've searched past group messages and the support site at Microsoft to no avail. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Mike McGuire

| Hi Mike,
Please check event log to see if there is any Application Center,
Perflib or WMI related error events.
Also, go to Component Services, expand to COM+ applications, find
Microsoft AC PerfLogConsumer. This is the AC logging component. If it
is not running, start it.
I'm looking forward to your findings.

| I've the same problem. I've a cluster Web with four members and the counters are ok. But in the cluster Com, with four members too, the counters work only in the controller. The Microsoft AC PerfLogConsumer is running in every member.
Thenks.

Add a third user to this problem. I see that the PerfLogConsumer is
running, but not stats except for the cluster controller. None of the
members are collecting stats. I checked and the AC database is empty.
