| We are running WinXP on Win2000 servers. The My Doc folder is automatically
redirected for all users to their home server drive through policy. The
laptop users have their My Doc automatically configured (policy) for offline
folders.
The problem arise when a non-laptop user, uses a laptop. He will then get
offline folder setup, and the computer starts synchronizing files and
folders. When going back to a non-laptop pc, the computer will continue
synchronizing offline files. Even though the policy for this computer shold
disable offline synch.
What I have found out, is that files/folders get a "tag" after made offline.
And this tag overrides the computer setup for offline files.
How do I work around this problem? Have I done something wrong in the XP
policy setup for offline files?
