Author Will Longhorn displace Application Center Administration ?

I'm embarking on a proof of concept for Microsoft n-tier solutions:

We currently use cisco content switch to load balance our Non Microsoft web
site.

But we would like to go with Microsoft .NET and use CLB for new Enterprise
Services (ie. COM+) components. Not sure if we are required to use NLB?

The tiers will be :
1) ASP.NET - Web servers load balanced by cisco content switch
2) Web Services - on the web servers.
3) Business Rules BR - 2+ servers prefereably load balanced with CLB - COM+
application & object pooling
4) Data Access DA - 2+ servers load balanced with CLB - COM+ application &
object pooling.

Does this sound feasible? Will this be superceded in Longhorn?

Regards,
Manuel.
