Hello,

I have two Windows 2003 servers no service pack. One is Web Edition and the
Other is Enterprise editon. I have installed Application Center 2003 on each
server. I have not configured any load balancing I created an Application
Center Cluster starting on the Web Edition and then I added the second node
(The enterprise edition) to the cluster.

After this I synced the cluster.

All the files were copied over and all the web sites were configured. The
problem is that the target server does not work at all.

I receive the following errors when I attempt to browse the sites on the
target server.

A dynamic link library (DLL) initialization routine failed.

Looking at the IIS config for the website indicates that the fpexedll.dll
ISAPI filter is not up for the website.

My goal here is to transfer my web sites off of web editon to enterprise
edition. I would like to simply upgrade the Web Edition but for some reason
that escapes me Microsoft won't allow such an upgrade.

The souce server is also running sharepoint portal server but I am not
interested in those web sites. I intend to leave the souce server as a share
point server and simply move off the standard web sites.

Advice or suggestions are welcome.

Thanks

Bill

Remove the ISAPI mapping from the target machine and your site should work.
It probably didn't get replicated as it was likely in use by the source
machine.
