Does Application Center support clusters without NLB? We use hardware load balancing for our web cluster. If it can work without NLB, what can it offer me?

I am interested in replicating state information across web nodes, metabase updates, GAC, COM+ packages, registry updates, DSNs, etc. Content is stored on my SAN.
