How to copy windows and all updates?

Please can someone tell me how I can make a copy of my computer as it sits
now onto a CD? I wish to have windows and all the updates available because
of a problem we are having when we download the updates for our new video
card and motherboard, we keep losing all our information. Can someone
please tell me how to do this, I would very much appreciate it! Ann
