Depending on the scope of testing, you may have one or more test scripts. We
recommend that separate tests be run for each scenario in addition to running
all
scenarios concurrently with a specified weighting. Running scenarios
separately will aid in uncovering bottlenecks in the system or code that
affect only that specific area of application logic. These isolated
bottlenecks will help you in identifying later bottlenecks that are due to
code interaction in the mixed scenario test run. The mixed scenario test run
(where all scenarios are run concurrently) helps stress the application in a
more realistic fashion, representative of actual application usage. This will
help you reveal application bottlenecks, such as blocking and timeouts, that
are due to the interaction of all scenarios.
