I'm upgrading the server hardware platform of a 5 node, Win2K03, AC2K SP2 in
a DMZ, without a domain, workgroup only. Matching the 5 old servers with 5
new servers.
I did the preliminary builds of the new machines on the internal network,
not joining the domain, and using the same hostnames as the servers in the
DMZ.
In the DMZ I moved the controller from 'W' to 'K', removed 'W' from the
cluster, and unplugged the NIC. Next I changed the NIC settings on the New
'W' putting it into the DMZ, and joined it to the cluster without bringing
it online.

When I try to bring up a page on the new 'W', I'm prompted for a username
and password to access the site.
I've compared all permissions on the new 'W's site, and the file permissions
too. Everything lines up. I think the problem is the ACC_W group is not
changed when promoting 'K' to the cluster controller (by design) and this is
causing a problem with access permissions. I don't know what to do to clear
this up. Should I bring the new 'W' online, and promote it to the cluster
controller, realigning SIDs? Am I even close?

Thank you for your time
