| I have a Sony Cybershot that came with download software that is not user
friendly. I am told that I can use Windows XP to download images directly to
a folder. The digital camera wizard will not let me install the camera into
an XP configuration because it does not have a Sony camera as a choice and
requires a disk, which is a Sony disc. I have a Sony driver and the USB cable
is installed and working but I can't seem to find an alternate route to allow
XP to provide the downloading. I went to the Help section and tried to follow
the instructions and it kept bringing me back to the same installation
wizard. It suggested to right click on the camera but the display did not
contain the instruction given in the help section so I could not proceed with
that route.
I would appreciate detailed assistance in accomplishing this.
