I am having problems with the IISAdmin service not recovering after
synchronizing sites using AC to the 2nd node in a cluster.

Both servers are running Win2003 SE and have MCMS 2002 SP1a installed.

After synchronizing either Default Web Site or All Sites the sites on
the 2nd node stop running and ISM will not open and IISAdmin service
dies and won't come back, even after reboot.

I've been to KB 323892 and it suggests that CMS registry data should
not be replicated.

Does anybody know how to do this, or better still, why I'm having this
problem?

Thank you very much, Jeremy.

Based on your other post it sounds like you replicated the entire drive.
Check the following

304385 Application Center 2000 may replicate unexpected files and
directories
