Author ACT times out without obvious reason

Everytime I try to run a test, after some longer time period (collecing the
results) I get the error message:

Could not display test status.
This operation returned because the timeout period expired. (0x800705b4)

I tried to set all the possible timeouts, did not help. I am using one
computer as a Test client and Web server (WinXP) and I am trying to test an
asp page.

Does anyone have a clue?
