I just finished a successfull installation of AC2000 sp2 on two identical
win2000 servers with sp4 and latest updates.
Each server has NICs with properly separated IP in a workgroup and NLB for
webservers is enabled.
Have all default installation values for my cluster and its members.
Everthying seems to work just fine, including load balancing, monitoring,
synchronization, deployment etc..
For testing purposes, when i take the AC-controller immediatly offline
without promoting the remaining NLB member to controller, and try to access a
simple html page, which as i expect should be served by the now only
remaining IIS server.
i can not access the page and get the following error:
HTTP 502.1 - Unable to forward to host server
Background:
While acting as a transparent gateway, the server attempted to contact an
upstream content server and received an invalid response.

Error code = 0x80070005
Unable to forward request to master server.
I do not have web request forwarding enabled and i have no clue of what
the problem is. Please note, only when i promote the server to controller i
can access the page from that second member.
Appreciate any help!!
